    hydro fluid

And they foolishly believe that the manufactuer is the only entity on the face of the earth that can make a fluid that will work for their vehicle, despite the fact that the manufacturer likely doesn't even make the fluid that they sell at a premium price.

Operating over septic tank and field

Tanks can collapse. It's not worth the risk, IMO. Buy some 3/8" cable, a brush puller, and drag them out by the roots. If you don't have enough pulling force, get a pulley or two and learn how to multiply force.

Pros and Cons of portable shelters for K tractors?

They also don't hold up to branches falling on them. Put them under some large trees and they will get holes punched in them sooner or later. (Ask me how I know! :D )

    Fried ECU

Voltage control is always part of the charging circuit. It has to be. We used to have external voltage regulators, but these days, most seem to be built in to the alternator, OR, the ECU controls it. The alternator output does not go up just because the battery dies. Now, if you disconnect...

    Kubota 15W-40 Oil

Yep. It's just a diesel engine, not a magic black box that requires a special witches brew and certain incantations at midnight. Some people have orange paint in their eyes, so they don't see the real world very well, and talk like this upsets them. Agreed. I just had a Ford engine...

    BX23S Shims = More Pressure - Better/Worse?

Can you clarify that last comment? Does this mean your gauge is off? That's excellent info! Thanks!

    BX2200 Misfire and Dark Coolant

Yeah, that's a common ailment! :D Probably not a bad idea to drain it and flush it clean. That has to be done eventually anyway, and it might not be a great thing to keep those exhaust gasses in the coolant. Best case, they are harmless. Worst case, they are harmful. Which way do you want...

Diesel transportation and storage ... any suggestions?

That ain't a bad idea at all! On the other hand, a home heating oil tank might be free on CL, if you can be patient and vigilant, and you can have the fuel delivered to your tank.

    BX2200 Misfire and Dark Coolant

I don't know of any way to tell if it's the head or the head gasket without pulling the head. I don't know about your particular tractor, but generally, pulling a head really isn't a hard job for anybody who is handy with tools. A lot of the cost the dealer will quote is in the labor. A...

Diesel transportation and storage ... any suggestions?

I've been using one of those totes for my fuel for a while now. It works fine. No need to buy anything new. I do plan to move to a metal tank, though. I got one for free from CL when someone was converting from oil heat. Came about half full, too! :D I plan to pour a slab for it, too, to...

    BX2200 Misfire and Dark Coolant

You can get a test kit that will tell you for sure if there is are exhaust gasses in the coolant. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffnt&q=test+kit+exhaust+gas+in+coolant&atb=v171-1&ia=web

    BX23S Shims = More Pressure - Better/Worse?

Exactly. You have to know the weakest link, and allow a safety margin for that component.

    BX23S Shims = More Pressure - Better/Worse?

I agree fully with double checking that gauge, but on the other hand.... Hydraulic systems are rarely recommended to operate at the max safe pressure. Manufacturers are a cautious bunch, due to fear of lawsuits. Case in point: When buying a log splitter years ago I researched their tonnage...

    Do I have a problem?

That's the thrombulating dorkenshlater seal. It's right next to the marvel vane. It's Very Important. You must replace it immediately, or it might cause a localized discontinuity in the fabric of space-time in the vicinity of your tractor. That would not be good.

    Woke OTT deletes deletion thread?

Read Marx, Engel, Dewey, the Humanist Manifestos, and Alinsky. They all understood that controlling the language means controlling the argument, and that means controlling the outcome, and that means controlling the nation. History proves they were right. Words matter.

    Woke OTT deletes deletion thread?

I think the problem is that a lot of people have the strange idea that the First Amendment gives them the right to say anything they want to, anytime they want to, any place they want to. I don't know where they got that idea - certainly not from the text of the First Amendment, and certainly...
