Handgun and Rifle shooting bench ideas

Super pictures. I used to have some similar with Pheasants, Deer, Geese, and especially Woodchucks. I was into woodchuck hunting many years ago. Hard to tell.....Left photo is an 1100 with vent rib? If so, always wanted one. Had several 870's until the tragic boat accident. 😲 Sorry for...

    Foundation Drainage Maintenance Question

Does your footer drain generally run most of the time? Mine runs a couple/few days or weeks/year. Sometimes will go a year or two without flow. Might have a bearing on how you deal with the build up. Might be for the better. As far a Property/School Taxes - - I'm in New York also. I...

Damned if you do........Damned if you don't.......

I'm the first to admit I've never torn a differential apart. Or better yet, put one together. They seem to part science, and part "intuition" to me. Appreciate your documentation and commentary. (y)

Handgun and Rifle shooting bench ideas

Good point. Introduced from Asia if I recall correctly? For many decades, our NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) operated Pheasant Farms and stocked Ring-Necks in various places. One Pheasant Farm wasn't too far from us. Always thought it odd NYSDEC raised an introduced...

Handgun and Rifle shooting bench ideas

Like the others, I haven't seen a pheasant in years. Had them on our house property 30+ years ago. I have some fond memories hunting wild pheasants over English Setters. One Setter was a small gal that had a hard time to get them to flush. They'd just run. She never gave up though. She did...

    What's cookin' boys?

Yeah, the commercial Italian guys I knew typically used GP. Those were the guys I knew. Like anything, some will have other preferences. At home, of course the Mrs. is a baker and does pies. She uses GP mostly, with some exceptions like gluten-free, cake flour, etc. We haven't gotten to...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Just curiosity, what do those large square bales weigh? I think they're pretty much a standard size? See them around here, but not as much as round bales for the dairy/beef cow guys. They were LONG after my farmer days as a kid....

George - that’s ridiculous and offensive. I take issue with that comment. If you don’t have any constructive advice…..go somewhere else. (EDIT BY POSTER TO MEET TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OTT). Point is that someone was spoofing (using illegitimately) my own phone number while calling people. I...

Skeets - - - just like @Tractor Gal, I got a call from my own number once! I treat them all as spam calls, like the others. Same with emails, I don't click on anything.

Can you say........."Kid in a candy store...." ?????

It's been several years, but I used to get drops at a place 25 miles away. Was pretty cheap. Bet that's changed.....

@BBFarmer - - looks like a job well-done! My toolbox is small in comparison, and it's heavy.

    What's cookin' boys?

Yes, they’re refrigerated. Whether in the garage or refrigerator. They’ll still rise a little bit.

    Daily Chuckle

A former commercial cook. Sometimes you got nailed by a cut or burn during service. Made the best you could do to get through it. I got pretty good at it. A couple times had to make a trip to the Emergency Room….always took my stitches out myself.

Finding a water leak in a buried line

Had a municipal leak many years ago. Couldn't find it. Storage tanks emptied. Dumped a couple million gallons in a gravel spot over a couple days, so probably 500+gpm. Finally found it when a school bus caused a village street started to subside...Had to close schools for a couple days.

    What's cookin' boys?

Actually, yours looks just fine! 😋 I tend to assemble my pizzas ahead of cooking. Sometimes a couple hours just to get them ready and set aside. Often the sauce and all toppings are cold or cool. During the winter, I'll leave them in our cold garage on a chest freezer. I've probably...

Finding a water leak in a buried line

It can be tough to find a small leak like this. All great ideas so far. Checking for wet spots along the route might be your best bet. If soils are sand/gravel with good drainage, may never surface. I've used dousing rods myself several times. I prefer a crotched tree branch. I honestly...
