    What's cookin' boys?

Easy-peasy. I adjust quite a lot. Good for seafood. Not sure I’d want it on pork or beef. Chicken might work The Mrs. made some super lobster rolls. Leftover from boiled other night.

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Beau was a great dog I’m sure. I’ll get it wrong, but one of our members has a saying that goes “old men can miss a lot of great dogs…”. It’s not correct, but gives you the idea. If the originator corrects it, that’s great. The Mrs. was showing me some dog pictures from years ago. We always...

Been around pellets a while. I burn about 5 tons of wood pellets for heating each winter. Probably close to 100 tons now. I know different pellets, but haven't been sold on another grill to store, service, etc. If a Pellet Smoker/Grill could do all I need, I'd be there. Just can't get there.

I haven’t a clue on how to use a smoker either. A lot of guys are great with them, including @Daren Todd. You asked about our shrimp BBQ the other night. Was fantastic, as always. Probably posted the BBQ sauce recipe in the past….real simple. Folks that shun seafood don’t know what they’re...

    What's cookin' boys?

Today is some BBQ shrimp on the grill, along with some salt potatoes (minus the salt), coleslaw and some sweet corn. I can often get the frozen 16-20 shrimp for ~$7/# on sale. Works well for just two of us.

    What's cookin' boys?

Many years ago I did Clambakes for company picnics, family gatherings, etc. Had a weekend where my Clam bill was almost $8-9,000. Only 50 count this time 😉 …..We did some steamed Little Neck clams as an appetizer this afternoon. Only kind of clam to have. Delicious. 🤤

The Mrs. does a 3 mile run or walk most days with Geddy shortly after sunrise. That’s after 0600 nowadays. He’s not so much an “early bird” most days but does get moving pretty quickly

    Statement from Messicks

Thankfully no issue. You were wise to be suspect. (y) I had to go through computer training at work once or twice a year. Main cause of computer "hacking" was by emails. I don't trust anything received via email. I don't "click" anything in an email unless I'm certain of its origin.

Now that is super-creative!! ;) It's a take on a simple sandwich with so many improvements....ground brisket and 80/20, peppers, seasoning, egg, avocado, etc.... Tip my hat to you, sir! 😋 Heck, we still do Tater Tots and Onion Rings here and we're classified as "elderly."

    Finally, a Replacement Battery

My only experience with WalMart batteries has been limited to the small lawn/garden type many years ago. Wasn't good, so I've steered away from them since. I've trusted NAPA batteries, although NAPA doesn't make batteries either. For all I know, the WM and NAPA batteries come from the...

Handgun and Rifle shooting bench ideas

I knew old guys very good with a .410 or 28 gauge on grouse. I haven't seen a 28 gauge in decades, and they were rare then. .410 has been rejuvenated some. I was often a 16 gauge guy. Those are few and far between anymore. A Ruffed Grouse is SO fast when it flushes..... I wasn't of...
