What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Is this a view of your truck's bed or a trailer? At first glance it looks like a truck bed haha.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Picked up a bigger back blade for scraping the driveway today, 7 foot which will come in handy seeing as I added 3 inch spacers to the LX2610 last fall for an increase in stability plus clearance for tire chains.

    Chains for the "B"

I looked at tire chains com and found the same style chains about $300 cheaper at the local Kubota dealer.

    Tire choice for snow removal

I have had a bunch of sub compact and compact sized tractors, and for and all around tire the r14 have been so good. I mean in deep snow, mud and ice, chains are your best friend. I wouldn’t buy a new smaller tractor without r14 that my opinion.

    Tire choice for snow removal

Rather than switch to another tire - get some spacers and chains. Both will help and be very cost effective!

    My snow removal/traction dilemma

Some people can't believe the difference grooves can make. I'll admit to having doubts the first time it came up on a board. One of the first places appeared on Tracrtorbynet in a (very) long thread listed below. If you can make it or skip to page 66 I have a post with some information and a...

Nice work on that grooving job!

    My snow removal/traction dilemma

...ease and quit sliding sideways on the cross sloped portions of the driveway. I was amazed at the difference. I can't speak for rubber tire chains, but I can firmly attest at the improvement of grooving the R4s. I can now plow uphill without having to get a high speed running start. I'm...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

We got a couple inches of wet snow. Temp 36 degrees F. Supposed to get cold this coming week with highs around 10. Maybe 3-5 tomorrow. Figured I’d clean some of the wet stuff off before the Syracuse v. Notre Dame basketball game. Without front chains, made the mistake of getting too far...

    Chains for the "B"

For the front tires on my B2601, I got tire chains for a atv, there and 23" tall tires. Haven't broke any links or anything, I'm not nice to my B2601. The rear tire chains are for a skidsteer and I got them used. Both sets for under $200.

    Chains for the "B"

I was just gonna say the same thing. Get some tire chains and make them fit. I've done it to a small tractor and to a polaris ranger. Add cross bars or remove links. Make them fit.

    Chains for the "B"

The fact the B 2601 has skid steer tires on the back, skid steer tire chains fit with out wheel spacers.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Went skating/drifting on the Kubota while pushing snow yesterday. Loaded R4's on a sloped asphalt drive and some packed snow make it interesting. Had to use the bucket once to back myself out when I had pushed a bit too far across the state road and dropped a front tire off the far side of the...

    My snow removal/traction dilemma

...I remembered to drop the plow. Current setup: L47 TLB, 7' snow plow blade with hydraulic angle and poly cutting edge, R4's with rubber tire chains. Rear tires not filled. Possible solutions I have been looking at: Chains, studs, maybe put studs in rubber chains so they can be removed...

    Tire Chains vs Concrete

Have a set of chains, combination of cleats, some fairly aggressive, front and back. Problem is we got a nice concrete pad poured this year in front of the garage. I am thinking that the chains would do a number on the concrete unless there is a cover of snow or ice. Any ideas/experiences with...

    R14 Tires - LX2610 - Snow Chain Recommendations

I put chains on my B 2650 this fall. I tried studding the tire in the past. The studs stay in the rear tiers. When you turn the wheels to steer it rips the studs out. The chains are much more effective. I have been cutting firewood down from the house. No problem getting back up the hill in...

    Chains

I might suggest if your going to park or drive it on Garage floors that you would like to keep nice, you might want to invest in some heavy rubber stall mats.
