    Heater In a BX25D

I built a cab last year and installed one of these. Plenty of heat and not too hard to plumb. It's mounted to the right of the steering wheel facing up so the air can be directed toward the windshield. The round silver diffuser can be rotated to aim the air. http://racewayparts.com/ah454.aspx

Noise when depress forward or reverse - B3200

Two weeks ago I prematurely did a full service on my L3200HST. Although it only has 130-some hours on it I didn't feel good following the long wait till the recommended hydraulic oil change. The only original liquid that remains in the tractor is the coolant. I used SUDT2 and changed all...

    La524 fel

Tractordata.com shows the same capabilities for the LA524 loader on both tractors. My GUESS is there's a standard/common hydraulic pressure that Kubota uses. Since it's the same loader the cylinders are used so the same pressure on the same cylinder = same lift. That pic reminds me that it's...

    La524 fel

The same loader on an L3200. Gets a little light in the rear even with the 6' RFM.

Enough Power for 5' Finish Mower?

The B7500 I had would handle a Landpride 60" RFM fairly well. The PTO on it is rated at 2-1/2 horses more than a B20. Going uphill or through tall grass required slowing down. My Ford 1210 handles a 60" Caroni just fine, but couldn't handle the Landpride. They both cut 60" but the LP was...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Although the tractor only has 138 hours on it and is about 1-1/2 years old I did a major service - oil, SUDT2, all filters, etc. It seemed like a good idea not to wait as long as the manual suggests. It's been nagging me ever since doing the 50 hour service. The filter change only on the...

Any one build a land plane?

We threw one together at work a while back. We have large areas of stoned driveways and outdoor storage. Using some old beams, pipe, angle iron, channel iron and a stainless plate it took a couple hours in the weld shop. The two side rails are 10" or 12" beams. The front and rear have a...

On the fence over more power

When I first got my B7500 it seemed like it was a lot more tractor than the old Ford 1210 that served well for the previous 10 years. With 21 horses and extra weight it appeared to be everything I'd ever want. That was in 2002. In the time since then, there were quite a few times when I...

    Suggest a Kubota, BX, B or L?

I've been doing our original 2-1/4 acre yard for the last 24 years. It took between 1-1/4 and 1-1/2 hours with a Cub 154 Loboy with a 5' belly mower, a Ford 1210 with a 5' RFM and a Kubota B7500 with a 5' RFM. Last year I bought a Kubota L3200 and a 6' RFM and I've been saying it took 15...

    Land Pride 1672 Finish Mower

Had a Cub with a 5' belly mower for a couple years. Still have a 22 year old 5' Caroni RFM and ran a Landpride 5 footer for 10 years. This is the second year on a Landpride 6' deck. Blades have been off and on many times on all of them. Until about two years ago I used a 1/2" Harbor Freight...

rear scraper blade or Box scraper, which is the better option?

Absolutely. I used one to rake the plant remains together and for the final smoothing. Also used the FEL to scoop up and haul the junk.

rear scraper blade or Box scraper, which is the better option?

Finally used the box blade yesterday. As cerlawson said, they have two different applications. I've used scraper blades for snow removal for over 20 years and they worked very well. I also used them for spreading crushed stone and LOOSE soil with some success, but a rear blade won't cut into...

    B7500 mmm

Welcome aboard! I'm with Bulldog. My first tractor had a MMM. Next 3 all RFM's . Remove the loader unless you're using it. Too easy to get it on and off the tolerate the decrease in manouverability.

    Paint

PPG has some tough coatings. We used some on the underside of a truck body/frame we refurbished at work. It hasn't been on the road long enough to give it a review. It does seem to be very tough and we will be using it one a landscape trailer that is in the shop being repaired right now...

    b7500hsd value

Around here that would be a very good deal for a clean unit. Bought a new tractor last year then turned around and sold my nice 2002 B7500/HST/FEL to a dealer for $9K. He put it on the lot for $10,500 (don't know what he sold it for). We were both happy.

Boom Pole for 3PH - Are They Worth It

I made a boom pole for the old Ford and it really came in handy. When I got a tractor with a loader, it sat around a lot. The one thing I did use it for after getting a loader was the driveway drag. We paved the driveway and no longer needed it for that. Last year I added a 3-point...

    B7500 Fuel Tank Removal

On night I was fueling up my B7500 and there was very little light. The fuel cap had a rubber cover over the plastic cap. When the cap was removed for fuelling, the rubber part remained behind. When I poked the fuel nozzle into the tank, it got pushed into the tank. After several attempts...

    BX25D work lights?

You have nothing to lose by trying them unless they're of a higher wattage tham the ones I've played with (55W each = under 10A to run). If the load is too heavy the fuse should take care of that. The one problem I had with driving lights was the light pattern. They were more than bright...

    My new L3200HST

Some things have a way of coming back anyway. About a year ago I was coming down the road from the next town. Something triggered a memory of being in the same place while tooling along in my Z28. When I prepared to make a right turn onto a side road, I instinctively raised my left foot to...
