    L series Backhoe worth getting?

Right. Each have a great purpose. I love a mini, and will one day own one like yourself. Me personally, my BH is on my tractor 90% of the time. I find uses for it when I least expect it. And doesn't take too long to dismount and get the 3PH setup for use, despite it still being inconvenient.

    L series Backhoe worth getting?

Having spent many hours in both a mini and a TLB, for overall property needs, I don't see the logic in a mini versus a TLB.

Plywood to prevent rutting? FOLLOW UP

I have used 3/4" plywood plenty of times when using mini-excavators (7k-9klb range) for drainage projects or for moving the machine across delicate turf. The plywood serves 2 purposes for drainage projects. For the stated obvious reason, it helps to protect the turf from extensive damage. But...

Oil spray by FEL hookups BX23

Took mine off for the first time, wiped it down real good, connections were nice and clean when reattaching the FEL. Don’t see anything so far. Machine has 130hrs now when I took it off for the first time

Oil spray by FEL hookups BX23

Working on it today. And I would assume, where there is oil, there must be a pressure loss, right? Even though slight, it could be a problem as well

Oil spray by FEL hookups BX23

Haha no, not going straight to the bank with it yet. Gathering information. I am going to unhook it, wipe it down, and reinstall tomorrow. Thanks for your help

    BX23S Power Steering

Tire pressure is good? I’ve had no problems, other than at one point I was dealing with a pinhole leak that when using the FEL, the steering was definitely “heavier”. Good luck with it

Oil spray by FEL hookups BX23

Thank you. Has there ever been a pressure loss associated with it? The ones who went with flat face connectors, I assume they eliminate the mounting block that is pictured? And went hose to hose?

Oil spray by FEL hookups BX23

Ok I will check that out. I have yet to ever disconnect the FEL. Where would the oil residue be coming from?

Oil spray by FEL hookups BX23

So I was looking over my tractor, and noticed oil residue all around the area where the hydraulic mounts are for the FEL on the right side. Assuming it’s hydraulic related, I inspected all hoses and fittings but can’t seem to find a problem. But, what I did notice is the bottom side of the...

    Welding

Heads spinning, but I’m grasping most of the information, which is great info, thank you. Seeking an evening class at local school never crossed my mind but that’s a good idea. Though I tend to learn best with figuring it out for myself  I know YouTube would be the place to go, but I...

    Welding

Can someone dumb it down for me? I understand there are different applications for different metals, size metals, and such. I have never welded nor tried. I am dying to learn how, but not sure where one should or could start. So… What type/size welder is a good place to start? What...
