    Snowblower rotator BX2819

I currently have the BX2816 and the BX2819 (Seems to be rare) is an electric rotator for the snowblower. I have checked and there is only one place I can order it. It currently cost close to $450 dollars so I don't want to just jump. I want to know if anyone else has the rotator, and if they...

any have a snowblower setup on a BX1880?

I kept my eye on Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace, and bought a used one in near perfect condition for 3 thousand even. I was able to purchase it because the original owner failed to lower the side shoes and was plowing a stone driveway, and was shearing pins. I have a tarred drive, and it...

Adding Quick couplers for FEL attachments.

Now, I like that idea on the hoses, and the QC, as I have that for my snowblower. Nice if I could use the QC for some other implement. The best thing is it frees up two hyd lines for other functions.

    Rodents / mice / chipmunks

When my tractor is sitting in its shed, I put a couple of bags of Moth balls under the hood. 1 on top of the radiator, and another toward the front. Never a rodent. Even spiders hate moth balls. They are cheap too.

    Need Bridge (deck) input

I was just about to say, if he were in a snowmobile club he would have no problem knowing how to do a bridge. We drive a lot of heavy groomers, etc across our bridges.

    Rotella T6 synthetic oil

I have the T6 5W40 in my tractor as well, and in my area which is cold, my tractor starts very easy with this oil. I plan on an oil change once every fall, and it will again be the T6. I like it.

3 pt Leveling Arm with Crank

Now that would be handy. i like the pin's on the adjustment. Even better if we could get some that fit and were magnetic.

Pros and cons of snow removal options

A rear facing blower is a cheaper option, but in my case I am too old and cannot tolerate turning my head like an owl for long. So with me it was a front snowblower or stick with my trucks snowplow. I bought my snowblower for my 1880 off Facebooks Marketplace for 3k about half what the new...

Pros and cons of snow removal options

That is great. i need a set like these. I use a BX2816 with handle turning. With a mitten or wool glove it is always catching. Hands are warm but still a problem.. Insulated rubber gloves is an answer. thanks.

    Tool box options

You will probably find a lot more good option by going to an ATV supply and mention tool holders. or too holders for atv's and choose images at the top.

    Oil viscosity for BX

I removed the 15@40 T4 this fall and put in Rotella T6 5W40. Where I live in Maine, 5W always starts better than 10W or 15W. I think the Bota seems a little quieter too.

    Snowblower

I bought one from a fellow, and he had been blowing a stone driveway. Stone were all through the blower shearing bolts. I worked on it until all stone were out and rotation of the blower parts were free. If it is right behind in the housing, check linkage for tightness.

    Grab hooks

Oh I might add that my bucket is the pin on. I decided on pin on as I anticipate no additional implements for the front end other than snowblower.

    Grab hooks

I took an angle grinder and cut the bucket level off, and place a hook directly in line with the lift arms, on each side, then added the add on brace under with the place for pad eye. I like the capability of being able to choose chain or a less aggressive method of rope and pad eye for stuff I...

    Piranha toothbar questions

Go Piranha regular. i did and I am also going to add their new Piranha straight bar cutting edge for less aggressive work.

    Grab hooks

I did with my 1880, and love them. Added the under piece that has hole for pad eye. Use both all the time.

    Do I buy a BX1880 or BX2380?

That is wrong.. It all depends on the use. I have an 1880, and love it. I live in the Western Mountains of Maine and get a lot of snow. My 1880 handles the snow just fine, with the front mount 2816 blower. I have a MMM but prefer a regular riding mower to the Kubota. I am older now and...
