Tips and Tricks - I need one!

I hear yuh, I just turned 80 and bought my first Kubota bx1880 two months ago. It had 85 hours on it when I got it, I noticed the previous owner never did the 50 hr maintenance. Seeing as I am a stickler for maintenance, I jumped in and did it. Damn skin on my hands is so thin now, I never...

    Spray Lube

I have some Deep Creep, and I love it. It is similar to Aero-Kroil, but cost a little less, and will loosen hard stuborn nuts and bolts. I use it sparingly, and use the WD40 for simple stuff, and save the creep for tough jobs.

    Diesel fuel is running out

It was reported on FoxNews and Newsmax about a week ago that there was only enough diesel fuel in the country to last to the end of November. If you have a tractor you better be getting stocked up. Truckers are going to be the one that get it first very soon.

    Battery Maintainer - Running Voltage?

I agree. Having a maintainer or small trickle charger isn't rocket science. I have used them for many years, and just added a port to use a Napa 12v/6ah battery charger/maintainer. I need one on my Polaris Ranger and My Kubota tractor in winter as I have temps as low as -20 and some days...

I just purchased a used 2019 BX1880 used at a good price. It has loader and mmm, and ballast box. I was thinking I would want the MMM. I have a JD X330 practically new, that I use for mowing and picking up leaves in the fall. I also drag A DR Premier leaf vac behind in the fall as I have so...

    Impressed with the BX capabilities!

I wanted a small compact tractor, for some landscaping work. i was undecided on what to get or what brand. I also like the green versions, and was sure that was what i would finally get. Wrong, it turned out that a good deal popped up, and I bit, on the BX. it turned out to be exactly what I...

NAPA and Others Class Action Lawsuit on 303 - 20 weight Hydraulic Fluil

IMO i see no problem with using Shell Rotella oil for a Kubota engine. As far as everything else goes I will use nothing but Kubota filters, and Kubota UDT2 super oil for the HST. The difference in filter construction is dramatic, when it comes to a Kubota oil filter cartridge vs other brands.

    HST filter removal problem

You and I and a heck of a lot of others had this problem. I checked into it and solved the problem by purchasing an oil filter wrench from Harbor Freight, that is similar to a set of vise grips. This was recommended by others with the same problem. Same screw on the bottom just like all the...
