Back blade / landscape rake advice

I wouldn't consider a landscape rake for grass or leaves. It will scalp every time you go over a bump, divot, or hole. For leaves it's hard to beat a sweeper. I've had mixed results with gauge wheels and no longer use mine but they have a purpose in certain situations. If your land is perfectly...

Grass rows, are very annoying how to avoid? Using the MMM.

Yeah I bought some generic gator style blades that were only 3/16" thick. I had to buy 3 additional washers to get them to tighten. For what the dealer charged me for 3 more washers I could have bought a correct set of blades. ;) A while back one of my bolts worked loose and I had to retorque it.

    Problem with FEL

Clean off the quick connects, disconnect, and reconnect them. When I remove and install mine I spray a degreaser on them and wash that off with the water hose. Then I blow dry them and before installing I sometimes spray them with WD40 to make everything slide good.

Grass rows, are very annoying how to avoid? Using the MMM.

Try some gator style blades. If your factory blades are 1/4" thick you will need the G6 in Oregon blades. My dealer has some other brand that is 1/4" thick. Open the side deflector and slow your rate of travel. Do all of the above and it will mulch up and spread the clippings more evenly.

    Advice for rake

A landscape rake will work there. It will fill up pretty quick and stuff gets stuck between the tines so you have to push it out with your foot. They also work pretty good for smoothing out dirt and gravel. In this photo I had every other tine removed but I put them all back in and left it that...

    Grade 5 Shear Bolts

How are these described in your flail mower manual? What brand and model is it? The snow blower "shear bolts" linked above are listed as stainless steel.

I can be as wrong as the next guy. I have never seen these grooved "shear bolts".

    Grade 5 Shear Bolts

If it calls for grade 5 and you find a grade 5 bolt that fits it should be okay. It doesn't have to be called a shear bolt. The hardness and fit is what matters.

    finishing mower

I have both and the RFM will not give as good a cut as the MMM does. If cut quality matters to you I would look into options to make the MMM do what you want or buy the correct MMM and linkages for your tractor.

    Attachment Hydraulic Hose Pressure Relief

I only have one implement with a connection being my grapple. My hoses are zip tied together so I can't connect them to each other. I have thought about switching to the connect under pressure flat face but then realized I don't have any need. I just push the male poppet against the frame of the...
