The loader on my L175 tends to leak down with the engine not running. My guess is that the O rings in the shuttle valve on the control lever may need replacing, any thoughts on this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

I do believe the right way to run a brush hog is at 540 rpm on the PTO. That's where the gearboxes are rated to run. You can always change ground speed and keep the hog running at 540 rpm.

I saw that, and my first thought was to take some old "T" post stock (real old time stuff from the 50's) and weld it on the top to sort of clamp the tooth on. Wonder why the difference in pricing, plus they are not a stock item in the Houston store I called. Monday I'll check another source out...

Anyone ever built and had success with removable teeth for their FEL? Need something to do a better job of scratching loose hard packed caliche with my L175.

Don't fill the tires, but instead about 1/3 or maybe 1/2. This will put a few more pounds closer to the ground.

I made this for my L175 with a FEL. Weighs almost 500lbs. I used 6 70lb. concrete blocks for weights and can remove or add if needed. Also left room on top for tools and a chain. Also water filled the tires.

What did the dynamometer cost?
