    Difference in Manuals?

I downloaded a manual for the B2650, Code No. 6C410-6311-3. The one that came with my machine is Code No. 6C430-6313-3 which should be the newest since my Kubota was just delivered and did not even make it to the showroom floor. There are differences in these manuals and I have to ask why? For...

B2650 HSD 50 hour service questions.

"The hydraulic filter change you at least need to plug off the vent and have a filter ready to spin on quickly." Where is the vent on the B2650HSD? And which is which on the hydraulic filters and do you have to do different procedures for removing each one?

    Hooks: Weld or Bolt?

Have a few questions about adding hooks to my bucket: 1. Weld or Bolt on, have a neighbor that will weld, and where to buy materials? I saw the Ken's hooks and they seem reasonably priced for each type. 2. Positions and number? Thinking 3 mounted middle and each end, have the SSQA so limited on...

    Diesel

Hopefully the co-op has enough business to keep the fuel fresh but will watch it so thanks for the heads up.

    Diesel

Thanks for the suggestion but would you believe there are no stores that carry it in Wyoming? The closest is in Colorado about 350 - 400 miles, lol. I will keep an eye out and pick up some if I ever come across it.

Thanks, technically challenged since I retired, lol. By the way where can I get a hook setup like in your avatar?

    Profile pic

I can't seem to find how to get my profile pic to show up on my posts. I am sure it is here somewhere so would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. I downloaded a pic and it shows up on my profile.

    New to forum, New B2650

I have a similar set up but I went with the Cab which adds $$$$, same loader package with 60" bucket, much larger than my old 8N bucket, SSQA is great. I clear snow from over a quarter mile driveway and sometimes have to plow the main road if the county does not act fast enough. For that chore I...

    Diesel

The formula on the bottle equals about a 1/3 oz per gallon and it says up to so I guess you can go a little over. I put about 1-1/2 or 2 oz in 5 gallon can and did not get the can full, only about 4 gallons so I think that is safe. Don't have enough experience with diesel to know specific...

    Diesel

Got my first fuel today, used Power Service additive and put it in before I pumped the fuel into the can. It came out with a lot of pressure and fast, foamed up and I spilled a bit. I estimated the additive, figured I needed about 1-1/2 ounce for 5 gallons. How exact do you have to be with the...

Upgrading from a Shovel and WheelBarrow to a B2650

Both look like good choices, let us know how it works out. I am getting accustomed to the whine and if it abates a bit when I do my fluid change that will be a plus. Radio is loud, I just turn it up depending on what I am doing.

    New B2650 and Old Implements

Now that is interesting, I thought I had it at max and it seemed like it would not be sturdy enough to take much abuse that far out. Will take another look at it. Thanks for the suggestion.

    Diesel

Yes, ULSD is required per the manual so I will make sure when I buy it in the next few days. Thanks for the input, new territory for me going from 8N gas to Kubota diesel.

Upgrading from a Shovel and WheelBarrow to a B2650

I only have 11 hours on mine and like you keep it under max rpms, I am keeping it under 2000 just to be safe and vary the rpms because I figure it is like any other engine's break in. Still showing a full tank but will get fuel and additive from the co-op in the next few days to keep the tank...

    My new B2650!

Mine has a whopping 11 hours on it, lol. Just dumped a few buckets of gravel and used my drag on the road/driveway, got a little warm so put on the AC, not spoiled at all, not to mention listening to good ole rock and roll.

    New B2650 and Old Implements

I wonder why they are shorter and less heavy duty since there are a multitude of older implements out there. The reason I wanted to keep my Rhino blade is because it is a heavy duty son of a gun and the new blades that I have seen seem cheap, plus it is paid for and to replace it would be...
