    Hydraulic leak B2650

Took the hose off, 7J999-99130, and it has cracks in the middle where it bends. No ware or rub marks, must have just deteriorated over 5 years time. Other hoses looks good. No place in our town to get this hose made so will make the trek to our Kubota dealer, they make them on site. May get an...

    Hydraulic leak B2650

Anybody know the part # for the 16" hydraulic hose on the LA534 loader. The only number I could see is 75532 stamped on the metal crimp, when I plugged that number in I got all kinds of results.

    Hydraulic leak B2650

Leaking hose, blue taped, looks good no wear apparent. Only 300 hours on machine so just a faulty hose. Now to find one without driving 50 miles one way.

    Hydraulic leak B2650

I have a leak from my loader, looks like from the cover where the tubing goes from one side to the other. Anything I should know before I start taking it apart. Looks like protective cover is bolted on, hopefully when I take it off I can find the leak.

    Warm Up

How do you determine the warm up time for your tractor? My B2650 starts out at the mid 900's rpm when cold, after about 5-10 minutes it is up to mid 1050's. This is my minimum warm up, I usually go at least 15 minutes especially if it is cold (below 30F).

    What is this??

Returned it and you would have thought it was a $100 tool instead of $10, in other words they were appreciative. Guess it is the thought and effort that counts.

    What is this??

Funny thing is that the hood is open when it is in the garage, have it on a battery tender. I bet I had it open a dozen times since the work was done. It must have been tucked away on the side because the magnet attached to the lift cylinder and I saw this weird wire that looked out of place.

    What is this??

Learn something new everyday, thanks for that bit of knowledge. It looks more like a thermocouple that someone repurposed. I am sure they will be glad to get it back even if it is inexpensive.

    What is this??

Yep looks like a homemade mag pick up. Probably used to extract the plugs, F150 plugs sit deep so it would help to have a mag with reach. Called them and will drop it off. Thanks for the input.

    What is this??

Had some work done on my truck and found this under the hood. It is about 24" long, looks like a thermocouple. Long end has SET900WF stamped on metal, then copper wire and at the other end is a magnetic piece of metal. Any ideas what it is.

Thanks for the feedback, I figured it was a good chance to try something new and rotating additives may give the benefits of both since I have heard good things about Howes.

Friendly PSA - Treat Your Fuel, Cold Weather is Here

Here we have 2 seasons, Winter and Getting Ready for Winter. Another post I said I bought some Howes additive, I normally use Power Service White.

They do switch to winter blend but the additives have more benefits than just the anti-gel feature. I actually use #1 in the winter, our Co-op has it, but I still treat it. It is cheaper than gas station diesel because it is "off road" so no road tax, plus it is fresher because of the usage.

    Storm

Yep, a bit too early, had my bucket on and it hit so fast I didn't bother to put the snow blade on. Bucket did a decent job on the drifts along with the back blade but I like the snow blade. Storm

Had a nice storm blow through last week, about 2 feet of snow and constant 40 mph wind with heavy gusts. Needless to say we had drifts on drifts so the tractor got a workout. I got my driveway cleared but the county did not plow and people were getting stuck on the main road so we sat tight for...

    Creep

B2650HSDC is starting to creep a bit with the brake on. Is this a brake issue or hydro? Not too bad yet but thought I would get some input before I started adjusting stuff. I keep the pedal linkage greased, have never adjusted the brake.

    Sunfrost DC RF-16 Refrigerator

The frig is aluminum so mag seal would not work. The way it is built is going to be problematic aligning another latch kit but I am sure there is one out there.

    Sunfrost DC RF-16 Refrigerator

Anybody have a Sunfrost RF-16 refrig/freezer or similar with a stab latch system? I want to replace the latching system and am looking for alternative options. I am posting a pic of the current components, a stab latch that fails from wear over time. Any suggestions on some type of replacement...

    LA534 grease zerks

That's what I did, SAE and metric. 90 degree fittings make it much easier.

    LA534 grease zerks

1/4 X 28 NF, hard to get to and tighten. Needed an 11/32 wrench which I do not have so I used a universal socket that grips anything. Also a challenge to get it tight but in the correct orientation.
