    Stump Bucket

I've cleared about an acre with my L4060 and stump bucket. I stay in M-low, I could see getting into trouble in L-low. No issues so far.

Welcome aboard. If you’re using a grapple, front end damage can happen in a hurry. Don’t ask how I know  Cheers,

Chime in if you're waiting on a loader.

Took 5 months for the dealer to get a pin for my loader. Got the call in the evening, went to go pick it up the next day and they tell me they just sold it to another guy. I laughed, thinking it was a joke. It was not.

Snowblowing w/ turf tires - chains needed?

I hated putting chains on my lawn-tractor/ snow-blower setup, and the ride was pretty rough. Not sure about turfs but R4s are next to useless on sheer ice, even worse if there's a dusting of snow on it. Glad you decided to get chains, you'll probably end up needing them. Gotta love the NB...

A l ittle prayer for our friends in the GWN

We've been lucky in New Brunswick, low numbers, which is the only good thing that comes from being a drive through province. Hope everyone is healthy and safe. Looking forward to travelling when this is all over.

Skid Steer digger on a L4701

Hey, that's me in the L4060. I have the LA805 FEL, and the bucket weighs about 350 lbs if I remember correctly. I have used it for trenching as well. I was able to dig down around 2 1/2 feet no problem, which is all I needed. I have heavy clay soil, which helped with the stability of the trench...

    Stump Bucket Grapple L4060

It is great for digging/moving rocks around. I got one out of the ground that is about half the size of a smart car. Rocks are deceptively heavy. I could lift it just enough to push it around. I think I paid around $1600. It is solid though.

    Stump Bucket Grapple L4060

I was worried about that at first. I keep it in Medium-L, and try to put no more stress on it than scooping a pile of dirt with a regular bucket. I drive the stump bucket under a root, and use the hydraulics to pry the roots up. I have been keeping an eye on the loader arms, and they look fine...
