I'm a little late but my 2000 L2500DT came with a LB400. If you haven't found a front loader yet you might try tractor junk yards, but freight could be HIGH. Good luck with your search.

Have you bent any pins? Also, did you weld nuts to the back support or tap the tubing etc? A great build!

Found jbolt001's DIY Straw Bucket and think that the use of concrete form stakes is the way for me to go. I made a rake to remove pine needles from my road before grading and preparing for snow plowing. I have used a manure fork for years but now need a front loader debris/manure fork to pick up and load them. Any ideas and photos would be greatly appreciated.

Negative Wolfman. My problem is the seal between the axle flange (8 bolts) and the axle ( 2 studs and 4 bolts that mount the wheel and tire). This morning I used the same chisel and hammer as yesterday, 2 strikes and the collar popped off. Maybe I was holding my mouth wrong. Thanks, Bill

Flintknapper, Those are the grease fittings. With the boom fully down mine are off just enough to loose some grease while servicing the loader. I think my only option is to enlarge the two access holes.

I waste more grease than I apply to the pins in the rear of the booms. The zerks don't line up through the access holes. I have put the bucket in the dump position and raised the tractor with the loader and still can't get a straight shot at these two zerk fittings. I am thinking about grinding...
