I have a 2000 L2500DT with a leaking axle seal. I have removed the axle flange #31353-4411-0, bearing # 08101-06206, and bevel gear # 31333-4394-0. My problem is removing the cir-clips (split collar?) #37650-4368-0. I have bent picks, small screwdrivers, etc. with no results. Anyone here have the secret to their removal? Thanks in advance! Bill

Negative Wolfman. My problem is the seal between the axle flange (8 bolts) and the axle ( 2 studs and 4 bolts that mount the wheel and tire). This morning I used the same chisel and hammer as yesterday, 2 strikes and the collar popped off. Maybe I was holding my mouth wrong. Thanks, Bill
