BX 2380 Wheel Spacers and 54" MMM

Looking for assistance and or confirmation.. I have a BX2380 with the 2" Wheel Spacers installed and they work great until I tried to mount my MMM last night and the hind scalping wheels of the mower would snag on the tire, ultimately needing to remove the wheel spacers to utilize the mower...

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

Yeah if I had more property I would've considered a larger tractor. oh well next time.

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

I thought of that so I cut the tote one bar down but the FEL cannot lift this amount higher than a couple inches so that was a bust.

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

HAHA! I knew someone was going to comment on that... literally only checking the lifting capacity. I don't do any work without my Red Wings on.

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

I'm constantly thinking about maybe getting a second tractor... however the LX-series would be perfect an M would be overkill. lol

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

I guess I forgot to mention that is how I lifted the tote off the ground using a 3PTH Carry-all

    Firewood Lifting Capacity on BX

Well a few weeks ago I was posting about lifting the OAK logs and maneuvering them to cut them up, well now I'm trying to figure out ways of stacking the wood. I feel like I've finally found the limits of the BX2380 (not surprised) but it's not due to the lack of trying nor adjusting any...

Handling Oak Trees without a Grapple

No I just cut a 14” piece and weighed it.. it’s probably 15’ long so it’d be around 850-1,000lbs

Handling Oak Trees without a Grapple

Thanks for all your reply’s.. ended up just using the forks as a “workstation” or “cut deck” for the 6”-under trees and just cut the bigger guys in place… ended up finding one of the larger trunks at the bottom of the pile.. 16” diameter and 14” long.. weighed in at 70lbs.. just shows how dense...

    Sickle Bar on my BX

Yeah I just saw the price of them… back on the flail train unless I can pick up an ole sickle mower on Kijiji.

Handling Oak Trees without a Grapple

Evening everyone… I have a massive pile of oak trees I fell in the spring of 2021 ranging from 4”-18” when building my house. Finally getting around to cutting the ~8’ logs into 14”-16” pieces for splitting… but I’m having a hell of a time trying to pick apart the pile with a set of Clamp on...

    Sickle Bar on my BX

Honestly.. I'm thinking for fields where ideally you'd use a Flail Mower or Rough Cut.. this works just as good and it's half the price. Tons of people call me saying they have acres of land that they just want to knock down so this would be ideal.
