Got an early b7100 with high low transmission. Couldnt figure why I had a gap between hood and dash till I measured the column and it appears the older models had a column 1 " shorter than the HST model. Anybody with an early B7100 column they want to sell? Dont care about the box just need a...

Anybody tried swapping out the steering box assembly from a b7100 to a b7000? everything appears the same but not sure if the drag link joint is the same size. Maybe one of you guys has tried this before.

Got a b7000 with a cracked steering box. Need the box itself or would be willing to buy the whole thing if that what it takes. Any luck? Damon

Recently bought a 48" BB2048 Frontier box scraper. I have the lower arms for the 3 point but not the top link. As I measure it out the distance from the top link hole to hole is 25 inches. That seems really long to me could that be right?

Need set of rear axle shafts for the B7000. Any luck?

Got a nice instrument panel for my B6100 but it appears its really for a b6000. One obvious difference is the regulator. Is the b600 regulator usable on the 6100 or should I swap them? Looks like they bolt on diffently.

I did get it off. The gear pulller and a whack with a big hammer.

Can you tell me is it a splined fit or a tapered?

Tried that no luck. I broke down and bought an 8" gear puller which does fit but even that is required alot of torque on that plastic wheel. I sprayed her down with rust breaker and will leave it with the puller till tomorrow see if it pops off.

The Steering wheel on my b6100 is really stuck on. Any ideas on how to remove it? Ive tried a gear puller but cant get the jaws around and under the center of the wheel. The center nut is off. Is it a spline fit?

Bearing bronze. I recall the machinist thinking about it for a bit and he went for the bearing bronze. Used a bit of brake lube grease in it as it tends to stay put better.

I was able to install that seal using a modified axle puller and a good deal of luck. The tractor is together now. As for the flywheel I had a machinist enlarge the flywheel center hole and press in a large brass bushing that extends about 1/4" into the flywheel. Worth a try. The frictional wear...

I restore 1960's yamaha motorcycles as a profession so I see alot of stupid engineering or engineering done against the mechanic. I just thought Kubota was smarter I mean, a farmer with a handful of tools should be able to work on these tractors no? Ive got a full shop here and its challenging me.
