Putting a b7100 steering box on a b7000

Anybody tried swapping out the steering box assembly from a b7100 to a b7000? everything appears the same but not sure if the drag link joint is the same size. Maybe one of you guys has tried this before.

You will have to cut off the mount on the steering column for the dash support and move it to fit the B7000 dash height. and hood height. Of the original.
