    B1750 pressure in HST

During my pre-start checks I noticed that there was a noticable pressure release when I removed the HST dipstick and the level was higher than usual (it usually sits about half way up the stick and hadn't moved since the last fluid change). The fluid looks normal - no contamination that I can...

    B1750 Diff lock problem

I have a B1750HST that has intermittent diff problems that I think are caused by the diff lock. It runs fine much of the time but sometimes the diff lock engages when I haven't stepped on the lever. It also locks up the rear wheels occasionally when I change from forward to reverse. I have...

    B1750 replacement

I am thinking about replacing my B1750 which is mainly used for mowing on a small block. It seems to be about the right size for what I need. I have been looking at near new (1-2 years old with 50-200 hours) BX2360, BX2350, BX2370, etc tractors. I would appreciate input on going to a BX from a...

    Removing broken brake linkage

I use a length of wire looped over the end of the spring - usually a piece of household electrical wire which is strong and flexible. It gives you much more control when room is tight. If you can't get a straight pull grab a flat blade screwdriver and bend the wire over the end.

    help

Hi, you could try Messicks - http://www.messicks.com/KubotaTractorParts.aspx They have a section called LABELS for my B1750HST. If you enter the details for your tractor(s) in the orange section they will email you the parts list which has links to their stock and pricing.

    Operating the Engine Heater

I don't know about block heaters (not cold enough here) but how about a timer set to come on at 4am for an hour or so? http://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-TN311-Heavy-Grounded-Timer/dp/B005MMSTNG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1359413744&sr=8-2&keywords=timer Saves power and getting out of bed early on a...

How long do you warm up your tractor?

The following is from the operators manual for my B1750HST: 'Do not operate until the engine is well warmed up. If operation is attempted while the engine is still cold, the hydraulic mechanism will not properly function and its service life will be shortened.' This is in the postion control...

    B1750 Steering adjustment

Hello, I am giving my B1750 a bit of a birthday - changing the fluids, filters, etc, replaced a couple of weeping seals and lube. There is excessive play in the steeing wheel and I see that there is an adjustment screw for this. I have removed the rubber plug and can see it but I can't loosen...

    B1750 how much coolant?

Still waiting for a manual for my new purchase. I checked her over and saw that the radiator is filled with just water. I want to replace it with coolant but don't know how much. Can someone tell me the total coolant capacity of the B1750 or where to find it online please?

    B1750 controls

Thanks Stumpy and Alchemysa, Great idea to check the parts manual. I have been able to find one online at kubotabooks.com. One is called the 'speed set lever' and I guess this holds the foot control. The guy I bought the tractor off didn't know what it was and didn't use it so its seized up...

    B1750 HST level

Thanks Birddogger, I topped it up and used it for another hour or so. When cold, it dropped a bit but not much. The leak appears to be from the rear pto seal. It looks like it has been damaged by a drive shaft (is that the right word - I'm new to tractors). I have some work for the mower to do...

    B1750 HST level

I have just bought a B1750HST and am checking fluids. I am looking for a manual but haven't got one yet. There is a dipstick in front of of the seat which I assume is the transmission hydraulic level. There was nothing showing this morning (level was below the bottom of the dipstick). I have...

    B1750 controls

I've just bought a B1750HST (my first tractor) and do not have an owner's manual. Where is a good place to get one? Is there somewhere I can download a copy? In the meantime, there are a couple of levers I am not sure about. I think they might be a diff lock and 'cruise control'. They are both...

    Newbie advice on B1750HST please

Hello Everyone, I am looking at buying a small tractor (my JD lawn tractor can't handle paddock topping). I have seen a B1750HST with a belly mower that has around 2300 hours and is affordable. I am told it is a 1991 build. The tractor is a bit rough panel wise, but no real rust. I'm no...
