    B7001 steering broken

Pics show TPH upper arm pins I had someone machine for me because I couldn’t get proper pins from the local dealer. I seem to recall the B7100 pins were smaller than those for the B7001.

    B7001 steering broken

Thanks, Wolfman. Hopefully the steering parts I’ll need will this time are the same as B7100D’s. BTW I’ve found that the upper TPH arm pins are also different between B7001 and B7100.

    B7001 steering broken

Hi tsp159. Thanks for the response and tips. Yes - I was aware of the perils of wrestling the steering with a loaded FEL.... though in some tight spots it's necessary. The steering failure feels different this time - not totally loose. Maybe we'll get lucky and the fix will be to tighten up...

    B7001 steering broken

B7001 (Serial # 17520). My steering is broken. Turn steering wheel and front tires may or may not turn. This tractor has had the steering box replaced at least twice, - apparently a weak point. Could someone please provide the part number for the steering box, and say if the number is the same...

    steering box B7001

Hi folks. My mechanic says there's a break in my B7001's broken steering box - the part where the steering post seats at the bottom, and we need to get the whole steering box. I don't know the part # - From parts manual at...

B7001 4WD, manual shift - Front wheels locking

One last post on this thread, for all you who were wondering. The front diff bevel gear & pinion parts 66711-82810 for my (grey market) B7001 must also be used in the B7100 - A local dealer got me the parts. My mechanic installed them OK, and now I have my tractor back in time for this season's...

B7001 4WD, manual shift - Front wheels locking

Vic, Just visited my mechanic and found that the crown gear has 37 teeth, and the pinion has 6 teeth. I have to get the parts by mid this week if I am to get my tractor fixed in the near future (My mechanic will be 'out of service' for many weeks after this Friday.) If you have the parts and...

B7001 4WD, manual shift - Front wheels locking

It's orange and it's 'grey'. That is, it was made by Kubota, officially sold in some parts of the world (Europe? Australia?) but not sold by Kubota dealers in Canada; hence, it's grey market here.

B7001 4WD, manual shift - Front wheels locking

Yes, I'm quite sure it's a Kubota. No sign of Zennoh or other trade-mark. Additional details about my B7001: manual shift 2WD/4WD. manual steering. I think the serial number is something like 015782. The previous owner gave me a parts manual for a B7100. The pages showing front differential are...

B7001 4WD, manual shift - Front wheels locking

My mechanic found that the front differential crown gear and pinion have some damaged teeth.Looks like a previous repair in that area was not done with the greatest of care. He thinks we just need a matched set - crown gear, pinion+shaft, and a carriage Some questions for Vic/Ed: Do the B7100...

    ROPS for b7300 (or possibly 7200 7400 7500 2400 7410 7510 7610 2410 ?)

Hi Gyukonrick. Would your ROPS fit a B7001 ?

    B7001 Year ?

My B7001 needed 3PH upper-arm pins. B7100 parts didn't fit. I was lucky to find a semi-retired wizard with a lathe who turned out 3 pins for me.

B7001 4WD, manual shift - Front wheels locking

Thanks for the suggestion re u joint, Ed. My mechanic wiggled the shaft and found a little slop but it didn't seem locked. He's looking into it this week. Any other suggestions are welcome.

B7001 4WD, manual shift - Front wheels locking

When I drive forward or backward about a foot, one or both of the front wheels lock. (May only the right-hand wheel - as viewed from the seat). Seems to happen only in 2WD; when in 4WD, it appears to go more than a foot without locking but I didn't try more than a couple of feet. Before this...
