I cleaned my screen once, because the hydraulics slowed down, it had lots of metal in it. The reason being that the bearings were collapsing. 😥 If yours is that bad, there might be a reason for it 🤔

Have you had any luck yet? I can't see how removing the bolt could cause a issue. But it's not a huge job to remove the top cover/hydraulics to find the trouble.

I thought so too Russell. But I thought they must have put them in there for a reason. Had to try a few people to find somebody to know the difference, and as your post shows, it's known as a Max capacity bearing. On the NSK 6206 bearing, static load is 11300N compared to 16300N on the BL...

Hi all, I have a L2000DT with 1300 hrs on it. There is a lot of bearing/ gear noise when using it, even when hi/lo is in neutral. I'm about to pull it down to inspect/replace bearings. Is there any tips or tricks I should be aware of before I start? And are they standard size bearings and seals...
