I had a section of drive/road where I couldn't grade out the wheel ruts any more, So today I tail gate spread from the one-ton 4 loads, 12.6 ton, of 3/4" Stay-Mat over 350' of road.

Then I shaped it with the back of my rear blade to make an even crown.

25_6_12-2.JPG

Last I packed it with the one-ton. Couldn't quite reach a narrow strip in the center.

ONe of these days I am going to get down and pull the blades off the BX. Now you have to understand getting down is not the problem,, it's getting back up. One grand daughter said I look like a turtle on its back trying to flip my self over,,,

Nice work! I have a 0.6mi private gravel road that I maintain that looks very similar to yours. It is a non-stop work-in-progress but at least it gets me plenty of orange seat time.

Raining. Again. Took the opportunity to change the front pads on my Polaris. 2006 that I picked up in 2017. Fronts had just started to squeak. Rear pads looked good so they stayed on. Been slowly removing the mods the prior young owner did. Will do a diff fluid service here next weekend. Boss wants lunch in the big city and I must do as I am told.

Spread 6 yards of limestone to freshen up the path to the composter and beside the raised beds using the smaller tractor. Ground is somewhat wet and didn't want to leave ruts using a bigger machine.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there. Enjoy your day.

I cut the grass yesterday and today I started making the files for the decals. A lot of them are damaged and no longer available and I will need new ones when I restore the metal panels. The symbols on the bonnet (hood) took all day. Had to stitch them together from small rectangles and arcs.

Had the BTR on for some property maintenance. This is the least amount of stuff I've had in it since I've owned it.

Put a couple raised beds together with my wife and added some soil.

And the big boys were next door with a drill. Not sure what they were planting.

Nice! Are you going to have them printed in vinyl by a professional shop? Given the quality of work you've shown I wouldn't be surprised if you designed and built your own printer. 😂

No kubota fun this weekend, way too soft out with all the rain.

Yes, I will create sheets with all the decals and get them printed professionally. If the decals would be still available, I would buy them. But the most time consuming designs are done, most of the others are only warning texts. I have an old printer (bought, not built :giggle: ) but the quality would not be anything compared to a professional print. For trying out things it works though. You can get laser or inkjet printable vinyl sheets. Inkjet has to be laminated with clear foil for outdoor use.

Like others have noted, I got to look at my tractor, but no work with it this weekend. Rained off and on Saturday and just to muddy right now.

Did work in the farm house switching out old two prong plugs to GFCIs. Installed a new kitchen light and fan. Installed more lights downstairs. Wife and daughter continued painting. Things are moving along nicely.

That sucks…a real pisser for sure.

I ordered my first brush guard before my first KTAC claim was settled. I started shopping for a BG for the B later that afternoon.

if you had another hole in the other side I think would look more intimidating like performance air intake / ram air induction 😉.

I believe I would be seeing a plastic surgeon if it’s eating at you. (Got KTAC?)

LOL I could get down with a mod like that.

I've definitely been looking a guards.

And like you, will be sure to have a guard on the way before she comes back to the farm.

I do have KTAC. Never had to use either. Hopefully it goes smooth.

I'm gonna need her for a couple more weeks then I reckon I can send her in for a little while.
