Not clearly explained !
I was operating the tractor yesterday and it suddenly started to leak hydraulic fluid out the filter seal. Today I removed the filter and it had pressure behind it, blowing it off. after loosening it. I see no other issues.

How old and how many hours on the machine? Is it still under warranty? If so, call your selling dealer and discuss it with them and see what they suggest. One thing is it isn't going to get better without figuring out what the root cause is. Definitely not a normal occurrence.

I am the second owner, it has 133 hours on it and only a couple years old. I think a relief value is not shifting. It drives and is not "losing" hydraulic pressure, the loader is still up but with no fluid nothing would raise. Taking it to a dealership maybe difficult and I would hate to take it for something simple like operator error. I wonder if the speed lock has anything to do with it.

Or the hydraulic system is sucking air from somewhere. I guess put a new filter with a new o-ring and retest.

I was thinking something like that, now to figure how to fix it without taking it in.
Get the WSM (aka Service manual) it will have all the steps to fix it if it is a pressure regulation issue.
