Ever notice everyone that has turned up their L2501 suddenly goes quiet? Enquiring minds want to know. LOL

Have they been abducted by the EPA? LOL

they did upload the video of the riding mower fixup they were talking about so hopefully this isn't far behind.

I'm still here. Part 2 of the mower fixup goes up today. Have started editing the D1703 vid. Mad respect to the people that post every 2-3 days on youtube. I spend ~4hrs per vid on editing/review alone.

I was wondering....
Would any of these changes/settings apply to the B2650 ?
yes and no.
the l2501 use the D1703 engine. the engine is rated at ~34hp, but kubota detuned the engine (24.8hp) to meet tier 4 specs. your tractor use the D1305 engine (26hp) according to TractorData. the biggest plus for the l2501 is NO dpf or def, just a simple DI engine.
i have no clue how the B2650 meets tier 4 specs. i would consult a diesel mechanic for more info before tuning.

Along the lines of this thread is a recent YouTube video that will chronicle adding a turbo and tuning a John Deere 1025R for more power. I am hoping a lot of the information presented will give us L2501 owners additional knowledge.

Also Looking forward to the OP and final results with his L2501! :)

I’ll have to check that out and I’m looking forward to the video’s on the L2501.

I still have every intention of turbo charging my L2501 but, I have one project to complete before that project begins.

Well, I’m getting closer to pulling the trigger on a turbocharger.

I have one project I need to finish before starting on the tractor, both are small displacement, both need turbo’s.

I’m planning on buying two turbochargers….I still need to get my EGT installed on the tractor too…so much to do…

Next video out on my channel will be the L2501 inj. timing vid. I JUST finished editing the final vid in the mower-fix series last night and posted it today. I'm also shooting video now on an electric chute rotation for SB10 series Land Pride blowers. Winter is coming :)

Here's the finale vid on the mower fix for those interested:

I'll get you some factory EGT readings once I get my EGT installed (I was already eyeing the exact placement you used, lol).

I'm hoping to have some time over the weekend to do the install, but, it'll all depend on how things go over the weekend and how much time I can dedicate to the tractor.
