I was driving my new M4 yesterday and tried to shift, the F started flashing on the dash and the tractor wouldn't move. Had to turn the tractor off and let it reset. It happened a few times. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum! Not so many of us have new M4s, and so don't have access to the owner's manual or the shop manual. To start with, you should have gotten the owner's manual with your tractor, and the lights and error messages that appear on the dash should be defined there. To make sure something simple is not amiss that could damage your new tractor, check all the fluid levels before running it. And of course since it is brand new call the dealer Monday.

In my mind N is for neutral and I’d start by checking that all the gear and range levers are properly set.

is it flashing N as in your header or F as in your post? To me F is a fault and you would probably get an error code with it.
