R3 tire on L2501

I am considering changing my tires out once most of the heavy work is done on my yard. I am looking to reduce the impact my tractor makes on the turf. I was hoping someone had experience with this on a standard L. My rear tires are loaded with rim guard. If I make the switch, I would lose that to reduce the weight. I really like the R4s I have now, but I would not really need the traction, and I would like to be able to use the tractor when it’s a little wet without damaging the lawn.

Here's info from Kubota Wholegood 2016:

ALR8893A F-TIRE 25x8.5-14 R3 TF Steel Bias CA $ 207.00

ALR8804A R-TIRE 13.6-16 R3 TF Steel Bias AA 127 $ 428.00

Purchasing using the order codes (ALR...) above would yield a tire mounted on a rim with valve stems ready to mount on your tractor. Prices are for each. Total for a complete set would be $1,270

Your encouraged to confirm the info is correct with your local dealer as my info is nearly 3 years old.

I like turf tires on my equipment and haven't been overly impressed with the traction of the R4's in the conditions I operate.

Let us know what you decide.

Thanks a bunch for the pricing! That is not too bad considering it’s a full set of rims. How do the turfs hold up to puncturing? These R4s I have hold up really good in that sense.

Typically there isn’t much price movement when it comes to the tire prices. At least that has been my experience in comparing the prices over the years.
But do agree the OP should call to verify and hopefully post what they find.
