Waaay off topic here, but do any of you have experience with this flex tape you see advertised on TV? Talking the kind they use on a boat sawed in two and taped back together.

My pool solar cover is torn in a couple spots and before I buy a new one, I thought I might try this stuff.

I think that's the product my neighbor used, except it was in a quart can.

He had a 250 gallon hard plastic/rubber watering tank with a crack about foot long on one side. He mopped that on there and I saw it yesterday with about 6" of rain water in it!

Considering how much rain you guys got this summer, that's good to know. Your summer wasn't pretty, from what I hear. We had a pretty decent one up here in Erie Co. We earned it after last winter.

I used a can of that "spray" and was not overly pleased.
I made some "wooden" gutters, placed them together and used an entire can of the flex-seal........

that can cost 9 bucks.....

it leaked like a sieve!!!

I would love to seen that screen door he used as a boat.......32 cans later I am sure it held up!!!

Not that the question was asked....but the can stuff is kinda like bedliner in a can, a little thicker than paint but not what it appears to be.
