My 31 year old L needs tire and wheel help. Been sitting outside all that time. Rears have started leaking out around valves, CalChl filled I believe. Bridgestone Turf 13.6-16 "appear" reusable. Frts 24x8.5-14 dry rotted, need replacing, shot.
Opinions please. where to get tires and wheels for best price.

The tractor has never failed me, but once, when hydraulic pump went out 10-12 years ago, so want to reshoe her now. Thanks all.

I'd be very interested to see if your dealer can get them at all, since everyplace I checked said they were no longer available through Kubota. If they are, that's a very good price.

My wheels from Wold cost $336.00 ea., plus $115.00 shipping to my local dealer. I will say this, that are MUCH sturdier than the stock OEM wheels. Since calcium chloride is not being used now the old rot problem won't happen again.

Good luck........

Thanks Rut, I'll let you know. I asked if they were sure the wheels were available. She said there is a part number and price, offered up that tire/wheel
sets were available at one time, but not anymore. Where yours is pristine mine has been sitting outside 31 years. Runs like a top but looks beat, trying to decide whether 1500.00 in tires and wheels is a good investment or sell it and go with a new unit.

What size wheel did you go with. My rears are 13.6-16. Mike says he can make 12-16s for 325.00 each. What did your L come with?

My rear wheels were 24x7, and tires are 9.5x24.

Does this mean you can't in fact get them from Kubota?

You have ag tires. I have turf/flotation tires. Thats the difference. Mine still available. 30 years ago that size was used on B and L models set up for mowing.
My L has MMPTO, not available now.

Frt tires 24x8.5-14

rears 13.6-16 tire and wheel.

I forgot about the difference between ag and turf wheels. I can see that yours are entirely different than mine. Oh well, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

P.S. BTW, mine is a 1985 I bought new in that year.

I have a L2250 with turf tires 25x8.50-14 fronts, 355/80D-20 rears. I was hoping to convert to R4 tire tread. I am told I will have to go with 23x8.50-14 front & 12.50X80-18 rears. Has any one done a conversion on a L2250 if so what size tires did you use.

Thanks

I need new tires for my L2250. It has 25x8.50-14 front & 355/80D20 rears. It has turf tires now. Would like to put on a R 4 style tread. Any idea what tire & rim combo will work for me.

That $835.00 + tax is a great deal for tires and wheels!
Is that from the Kubota dealer using their "whole goods" ordering option?
I'm curious to know.
