Engine light on

7060 has red engine light on after it heats up. Oil an water fine resets when shut off but reappears in about 5 min . Any ideas?

If your panel is the same as mine in an L 3560, and you are talking about the engine symbol with an exclamation point in it, my manual says it is either engine overheat, which it sounds like you've ruled out, or problem with your ECS computer. It says (helpfully) contact your Kubota dealer .

It said that the engine output may be normal, but if it is not to put the tractor away and and stop the engine.

Yes it's an m series 7060 It's red engine light with the ! Sign in middle an I'm leaning toward the computer being outa whack . But would lie to get it corrected

Contact your local dealer and have them plug it up and read the codes. The red light is an engine management warning light. Could be a simple or complex problem, but no way to tell without the proper software.
