I've got a 25 hp tractor and 5' blade. If I don't drop my scraper blade on blocks but just leave it on the ground when I detach it, the next time I hook up there's a problem.
I back up, attach lower left, lower right link arms. But now the upper link arm won't reach back far enough to insert the pin. And I sure can't lift the blade. Make sense?
So if I'm without help, usually the case, I'd have to chain up, lift it off the ground and set it on blocks. Hook up is now doable. Is there any way I should be able to do the 3 point hookup with the equipment just sitting on the ground?
Don't laugh, all my old farmer relatives are long ago dust or I'd ask them. Thanks.
