That ought to work just fine - should be a perfect match up. Typically the MAX pto is given - so someone doesnt hook the 4' up to a 100 pto machine.I have a b7100 hst 16 hp ,do you guys think I will have any trouble spinning a 4 ft. Feather the clutch when you engage it - and those 13 ponies will spin the hell out of the Kodiak ! Keep the nose of the hog down lower than the wheel end and you should be fine.
Once you hook it up - make sure it raises and lowers correctly - raising more so - sometimes you can get pto bind and needs to be shortened. Make sure that you have a pto guard and ORC too.![]()

Jeff,Jeff,
We have a Kodiak also and it's a good brush hog. Be sure to start it on level ground. Engage your PTO with the clutch in and then bring up your rpm's.
If you look at maintenance, they will refer to some weird grease number like EP90...it's actually available at the green tractor store and it's called "corn binder grease." However, they have a 5 year warranty on the Kodiaks.
Have fun,
Burt
Thanks everyone ,now I can't wait ,have 4 of the grandkids till tomorrow but then it's my turn to have some fun!Jeff,
I forgot to say...with your PTO engaged, let your clutch out slowly and then increase your rpms.
