I just cleared 12 inches of powder, yesterday it was 6 inches. I'm on my third season with my 2750d and it is still operating great. I do keep up on the chain oil and other grease fittings.

I use chains that form a diamond pattern between the crossbars the chains also have "studs" welded to them. My bx2360 has the r4 s and I've never had a problem with the chains going between the bars. I also installed studs in my front tires, they really help too.

I bet it is the head light switch. Try unplugging the leads from the switch, then simple touch the leads together. Do this a couple of times, if the fuse doesn't blow then it's the switch. If it still blows, well then you have ruled out one item.
