Has anyone bought and/or used one of these for a gravel driveway? I've been watching a few videos on this type of scraper. I sure appears that it will work better than my box blade scraper for my 200+ foot gravel driveway. Driveway has steady grade change from top of drive, down to house and I get alot of rutting do to water run-off.

Yes I got one this year. Used it on my rutted driveway and it worked great. Simple to setup, just get the top link adjusted so the runners are flat on the ground then have it. It removed all my ruts and pot holes. Next year I will get 40 yards of crush rock delivered and I'll use it to spread it out.

Great and thanks for response. What did you pay for scraper? I'm getting a price of $1200 from a local Kubota dealer?

I live in Alaska and there is only one dealer in the entire state. Needless to say.....I pay more for everything!

I've had one for three or four years. Works perfectly on my gravel drive. Great with a hydro top link because the attitude can be tweaked front to back ever so slightly. But then ... the hydro link makes everything better .... IMHO.

I've had one for a year or so, leave it on most all the time, weighs in at 511 lbs. and helps with rear ballast. Love this implement and use it all the time. Last use was reclaiming an old logging road, overgrown with brush, berry vines, and grasses. Dropped the ripper shanks 2 notches and gave it hell ! You won't be disappointed with this unit.

Picked one up this years and it works great I paid $1600 but Landpride and Kubota have an agreement. It is available in Kubota Orange, make sure you get one with shanks, breaks up the hard pack fast

You will like the job that it does. I built one two years ago based on that design with some added features from designs found on-line. I made it just under 6' wide, added a "tailgate" that can be pinned up (horizontal), rotated forward to rest against a stopper to filter out material smaller than 1 1/2", or rotated rearward to float like a a drag to break up chunks. Should've just bought one. This one is made of heavier materials all around, but there's well over $1600.00 invested in materials. At 6' wide it makes the L3010 really work. As in low range and 4wd if the ground is damp. Great investment though. Makes maintaining 3/4 mile of cabin road a lot less time comsuming than a rear blade, with much smooooooother results.

Please post some pictures of your driveway maintainer. I believe in BUILDITYOURSELF for two or three times the cost and twice the weight!
Thanks, Bill
