Looking for Turfs and Rims for a 1979 B7100

Its a 4WD and has the 4 lug fronts. Would like to be able to swap back and forth summer/winter. Anyone know a good source that's at least somewhat cheap. Thanks everyone

Anyone use a Woods M4 bush hog

I have a chance to pick up one for $300.00, it all works well and just a little rusty on under side of the deck. No stump jumper is my only concern, but I will mostly be mowing field and the light growth at the edges. Seems a good match for my B7100 but I would like to know what you all think.

Just picked up a B2551 3pt snowblower, doesn't throw snow.

Got a great deal, I think, only paid 400, its rusty everywhere but everything turns free and looks like its right. I am running this on the back of my B7100 and tried both PTO speed 1 and 2, didn't take it up to 3 that seemed crazy fast. The problem is it plugs the spout every time. Inside of...

They can't be sisters, but they could be cousins.

The Porsche is a 76 and from Germany. The B7100 is a 79 and from Japan. Being born that far apart they can't be sister, but I'll say cousins based on the color. They look nice and snug in the garage, and only one of them gets to go outside in the winter. :D

    Trying to help my brother.

He has a different brand tractor with a 15hp diesel. We ripped the engine apart due to non start and low compression. Rings were junk, he is being told $150.00 per cylinder for rings. Is this typical, or is he getting screwed?

No Problem, just wanted to show my progress

1979 B7100, I added an off brand loader to it in December, and have since taken the tractor apart for paint. Tractors back together but I have yet to paint the loader, but there's always next week. :)

    Steering wheel removal - B7100

I popped the cap off, removed the nut and both washers. I put the puller on it and applied pressure, but no movement, can I just keep adding pressure, I tend to break things like this so figured I should make sure I didn't miss anything before ratcheting up the pressure. I put some penetrating...

    B7100 question - am I missing a cover

This is on the side of the tunnel, it is the left side of the tractor and is directly in line with the PTO lever about six inches behind it, it looks like it should have a cover, but I can't find anything in the parts manual or even tell why this opening is there. Never noticed it until I took...

    Water in the hydraulics

I've done 2 changes and will happily do more. The fluid still doesn't look right. It's a B7100 gear drive with loader running off tractor hydraulics. Is there a procedure that I should follow to get it flushed well or just keep changing it every 8 hours or so? I have seen a few posts on...

Thanks for the help, the loader is mounted

Thanks to everyone who answered questions and gave suggestions. Just finished getting my KwikWay loader mounted to my B7100. Took it outback and was able to turn my frozen compost pile. The loader had been on 76 Sears garden tractor with a sick motor and sick pump. It is now mounted to my 79...

So What Kind of Stupid am I?

While fitting an old garden tractor loader to my old B7100, I needed to move the lift cylinder mounts up about 6 inches. No problem, cut them off with the sawzall and weld them into the new position. Cutting was easy as I had already mounted the uprights to the tractor to measure for fitting...

B7100 - What is this and can I use this for what I want

This frame extension was on my B7100 when I bought it. What was it originally used for and is it strong enough to support a small loader. I have an old Sears Garden Tractor that needs work, but it has a great working KwikWay loader on it. My thoughts are to cut the square metal pieces...

    Hour meter question

I am sure this question has been asked, but I can't find it. I have a 1979 B7100, that runs like a top. Hour meter says 2700 hours, but I don't believe it. I did a test last night and leaving the key on runs up the hour meter even if the engine is not running. The tractor starts great, no...

Anyone used a JD 261 grooming mower

I just got one, cheap, and hooked it to my B7100 to move it. I need to replace the belt tension spring before I can mow with it. Driving with it lifted can be interesting, can't make sharp turns or go up hills without popping wheelies. I am guessing it weight around 500lbs. How much...

    B7100 and adding a loader

Wow, you were all so great about my transmission question, yes I changed the fluid this afternoon, so I have another question. I have a loader that I am going to adapt to my B7100, my question is should I make a bracket for the existing pump and mount it to the front PTO shaft, or tap into the...

    Transmission Liquid 1979 B7100

I am new to OrangeTractors and just got my first Kubota on Monday. Drive Great, diesel purrs like a kitten. But I tend to assume that prior owners don't take care of fluids and other maint line they should so I started checking them. Engine oil and filter are ancient, rust on filter. Only...
