    Rim Guard

It literally is beet juice (http://www.rimguard.biz/frequently-asked-questions/). It has worked great for me and I have not had any freezing problems even with very cold New England winters.

First Tractor Advice: B2601 or B2650

If you need to clear a long driveway, I would recommend the 2650. It has plenty of power to clear deep, heavy snow. It also beats the 2601 for loader work.

Too early to take snowblower off?

Yeah... that would be me, here in NH. I took off the snowblower on Sunday, greased it up, stacked it on a pallet, and hauled it away to its summer resting place. I then started doing work with my FEL. Yesterday, while shaking my fist at the sky, I removed the FEL and removed the snowblower...

    HST creeping forward

So I crawled under the tractor yesterday evening after putting the snowblower back on because we are expecting over a foot of snow as an April Fools joke. I couldn't get to the entire linkage mechanism and realized that I will have to remove the foot mat and some other parts. Not having the...

    HST creeping forward

I don't like that idea. It is like putting on the parking brake and pressing in the HST pedal -- it can't be good for the machine. I would prefer to et this problem fixed, especially considering the safety risk.

    HST creeping forward

The seat switch still works when it creeps and will shut down the engine if I leave the seat.

    B3200 Top Link Assembly

I concur with the posters above telling you to buy a new top link assembly. The same bolt on my top link is bent and my dealer told me that it is not sold separate from the assembly. The cost for a non-Kubota top link assembly they had on-hand was $25. The Kubota assembly was $150!

    HST creeping forward

My 2650 has only 50 hours and I have this same problem. In fact, I came here to post about it and ask for help and I saw your thread. I am going to see if I can figure it out using the diagram posted by NIW. If it looks like I might do more harm than good, I will just call my dealer. Let me...

Pressure in hydraulic line of FEL stored over winter

Thanks to all for the safety reminders. I should have been wearing glasses in anticipation that the oil would come out violently. I have to do an implement change over this weekend and will see if this happens again.

    Snowblower will not lift

With the engine off, work the control lever in all directions several times to relieve the pressure in the lines. Then remove the lines from the quick hitch to the tractor and reconnect, ensuring that the fitting snaps all the way round the connector on the tractor and seats down fully.

    B2650 FEL hose wear solution

Could you take another picture, zoomed out, showing the full route of your hoses from FEL to tractor? I have wear on my 2650 hoses but I'm not sure if your solution will work for me because of the length of my hoses and I want to see if yours are shorter and how they route.

    Got my B2601 today

I'm guessing that you are not contemplating the pros and cons of front versus rear mount snowblowers :p

Pressure in hydraulic line of FEL stored over winter

In late fall, I removed my FEL and stored it in a tarp garage. Prior to removing the FEL for storage, I worked the handle in several circles to relieve the pressure in the lines -- as I do every time I turn off the tractor and/or remove the FEL and I have never had a problem. This weekend, I...

    Is a B2650 a Good/Capable model??

I have about 40 hours on my 2650 and love it. It has moved crushed stone, graded about 2 acres of land, and I have used it along with the front mount blower to moves lots of snow. It was a great buy in my opinion and I am happy that I went with it over a BX.

    Removing shoes from snowblower

I have a paved driveway that I clear with a front mount blower. I find that even with the shoes set to their lowest height that it leaves a very slight covering of snow that freezes on top of the cold asphalt within a day. I am considering just removing the shoes from the snowblower so it can...

    Tow behind spreader / sander

I have a JD tow behind spreader that I hooked up like that to spread salt on my icy driveway. I found that I needed to add weigh or it would skip around on the ice and fail to spread. I put a piece of plywood over the top with a cinder block strapped on to it. Not ideal but it gets the job done.

Has anyone tried to extend the exhause pipe?

Paul Short has a video on an extension he did on a B2620. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bno3eT-84Fo

    Toolbox and Quick Hitch

I also have the same toolbox laying around in my shop, with nothing in it. Now I know what I am going to use it for. Hey OP - I agree with the poster above suggesting that you use fender washers and I plan to use them when I copy your idea. I also plan to drill a couple of drainage hole in...

    B2650

I cleared about 6 inches of snow this morning for the first time with my 2650. I have the 63 inch B2782 front mount blower. It was glorious. My gripes with the tractor are consistent with those voiced by others above: Exhaust pipe not long enough, HST whine is a little loud, and the routing...
