Mowing to "get away from it"

I do my best thinking while working or mowing. As long as the job at hand doesn't require a lot of thought itself ie trouble shooting, I can solve half the worlds problems. Whether I retain those thoughts after the job is another story though.

Does the engine crank but not fire? Cranking slower than normal? Not crank at all?

I received my manual for the L4350 and found a section in the manual for the FEL. Here are a couple pics with it removed.

    toggle switch above ignition key?

A picture would help, it may not be standard equipment. I have a couple switches on mine I will have to chase the wires to see where they go.

air in return lines and creaking noise

Just spitballing here, but would it be possible to install some temporary outrigger pontoons to cause the boat to sit level in the water? Not sure how much space you have to work with, but as my dad would say, "better to spend a little extra time making the tool for the job rather than banging...

    BX2370 mower problems

That's hilarious Darren. I've heard of that too, except with a loose spare tire in the trunk because the hold down wasn't used.

    Bees...

While I don't condone killing bees, if it is necessary I use a mix of Dawn dish soap and water in a spray bottle that can shoot a jet stream of water. Just enough dish soap to make the water soapy is all you need. It is cheaper than an arosol can of bee/wasp killer and pretty much every house...

    L3560HST Steering Wondering

I understand pulling (tractor wanders to one side or the other without holding the steering wheel), but are you saying you have to continually steer the opposite direction in order to keep the tractor driving straight? If that is the case I would be looking at the steering orbital (not sure if...

G5200 How do I bleed injector lines?

    1) Yes your truck should be running, that will give you more volt/amps to work with and wont drain your truck battery. 2) Yes you can bleed all 3 lines at once, that way your are not having an air pocket sitting at the head of your injection pump. 3) The amount of pulses isn't really a good...

    10W-30 in a diesel?

I work in an industrial processing plant, our management required us to buy our oil from an oil supplier. I was hoping to not have to stock another oil if I could get away with it, lots of red tape if I do unfortunately. If I do run 15w-40 what could go wrong and has anyone done it? This...

    10W-30 in a diesel?

I have a L4350DT. The owners manual says use 10w-30 motor oil. I have never heard of a diesel engine taking 10w-30, usually it is 15w-40 Diesel grade. Any input, words of wisdom or advise would be appreciated. I tried searching this on the forum and all I saw was the typical synthetic vs...
