Wife took a shot of me cleaning up after the weekend snow dump. It was fascinating to see the capture of the segments of snow as thrown out by each impeller blade . . . and being able to see the segmentation in the discharge 10-15 yds away

Total charge to replace PTO clutch assembly K258313900 and supporting seals, bearings was $3447 Cdn plus local taxes. Parts - $1000 Time - 17.38 hrs at $139/hr for $2415

Not sure if its good to mix new and used equipment...

Was chipping 3 1/2" poplar branches yesterday when it started bouncing in and out of the teeth and then pto shaft stopped turning. No strange noises that I heard. No grinding. Cleaned chipper out and tried again but shaft barely turned. Checked mid pto via attached front mount snow blower -...

Ditto on the pto shaft length. I bought a BX2750C a few years back that the guy had been running on a BX1850. PTO shaft a couple on inches too short. New shaft $100's.
