take a volt/ohm meter, if you dont have one - get a cheap one at walmart or harbor freight. Battery voltage on a fully charged battery should be about 12.4 - 12.6 volts, as soon as it starts and runs, should climb to 13+ volts as Daren said. Report back - tell us what you find out.
