I am getting ready to change the oil for the first time in my 2022 ZD 1211 Diesel engine. The manual calls for either CF, CF-4, CG-4, CH-4 or CI-4. All I have is a CK-4. Does anyone know if the CK-4 will work?

CK-4 is a "newer" oil - when that publication was produced the oil standard was before the CK-4 standard.

Read this and use the newer oil and you will be fine

Many thanks! So I am now planning on doing my first oil change in my 2022 ZD 1211 using: Castrol GTX Diesel API CK-4 at SAE 15W-40.

Do you think this will be just fine?

Thanks a bunch.

Yes, that will be fine. You only need to stay away from FA classification diesel oils. All your C's you listed are backwards compatible.
