The upholsterer asked me to send some photos of the cushions once I got them reinstalled. Here are some photos that I sent them. I've cleaned the deck since I took these photos. There was some residue from the fiberglass debacle.

By dumb luck, the color I chose kind of matches the handle (bump stop) on the access door to the center console. I noticed that the color changes based on the lighting which is neat.

You can see the upgraded JL Audio speakers and the pair of 10" subs that I added between the factory locations for the mid range speakers.

There was no place inside the console to mount three JL Audio amplifiers, so I embedded a 3/4" thick piece of marine grade plywood into fiberglass on the inside wall of the console. I primed the wood with resin, removed the factory gel coat, then used CSM and resin to bond it to the inner wall. I then covered the wood with numerous layers of CSM and bi-axial fiberglass/resin and finally rolled on a couple of layers of gel coat with wax in the last layer.

I had ordered a piece of starboard last year so attached it to the wall by screwing into the plywood (5200 on threads) and mounted the amps and power distribution blocks to the starboard. It looks great and works really well.

I'm not ready for bikini season to end and for sweater season to start! :cautious:
The neighbours complain when I wear a bikini. They seem to think men should wear boardies. but in these enlightened days I'm not sure that's a hard and fast rule. :)

I fibreglassed the bottom of a dinghy we inherited. It was summer, so I did it outside, and without adequate protection cause it was hot.

A few years later I made a stitch and glue row boat. When it came to the fibreglassing it turns out I had developed an allergy to resin. Probably from the dinghy. I swelled up like a chipmunk. So my better half had to finish all the fibreglass work. Which I didn't mind, but she did a bit.

I'm betting your better half looks better in a bikini than you do! ;)
I know Mrs Wolfman does! :sneaky:
