Looking to buy a replacement midmount mower for my BX1800 and have found a RCK54-15BX that the seller says will work on a BX1800.

Can anyone confirm they have done this without any issues?

Thank you in advance

You should check with a Kubota dealer, however, from my experience, the answer is almost always NO, a deck from one model tractor will not fit a different model tractor. A mower deck from a series 50,60, 70, or 80 is not interchangeable, but all decks within the particular series are usually interchangeable. What tractor number does the RCK54-15BX originally fit? The "15" would indicate to me that the deck originally was mounted on a BX1500, which is a 2-cylinder tractor built back in the early 2000s.

It might work, but the BX1500 is a shorter tractor. I don't know if that will make a difference, and I don't know where the shortness is, just that it is a shorter tractor. Ask the seller if he will allow you to try it on your tractor first.

Thank you, as it turns out the unit for sale is a RCK54-22BX so it's identical to the one I need.

Make sure the PTO shaft is the correct length - I was in the same boat a while back and had to switch the PTO shafts!!
