I bought an April 1996 built, ONAN 4.0DKC generator powered by a KUBOTA 3-cylinder engine. The engine is quoted by ONAN to be 41.2 cubic inch which converts to approximately 675CC. To be able to order parts from KUBOTA or any aftermarket parts, I need to know what year and model of tractor this engine might have come in. Please don't delete my post as I use this forum for information on my 2010 Kubota B3200 tractor. Thanks in advance for any help on identifying my engine.
It is a neat genset and just purrs with the Kubota power. It only uses 1/2 gallon per hour at full load. It is an 1800 rpm genset.
Here is the write up on the ONAN with pictures of the genset. (73) Onan: - I picked up an Onan 4.0DKC Diesel set today. | Smokstak® Antique Engine Community
