Where does L3800 Block heater thread in!?

Got the 50 dollar on ebay, solid brass, nice looking block heater for Kubota 2013 L3800 with ansung loader. I don't see any threaded plug to put this heater into.... where in the $*($* does it go? Says "Front right of engine" on directions and it says it in regards to L series Kubota. please someone just send a pic or tell me where to stick it!

There is no threaded port in the block, you need to add a adapter to a freeze plug hole.
I'm betting you have the wrong model of block heater (drive in), or you have the right model (3/4 pipe threaded fitting) without the freeze plug threaded adapter.

What you want is a P/N 70000-00297

My heater is threaded for 3/4" hole and looks like the one you pictured. I guess I need the drive in adapter for the soft plug hole. I'll have to measure it and get one, just not sure where. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!

how do you usually go about yanking out the original freeze plug, there are a few to choose from on driver's side. drill it/thread something into it and yank?

BE CAREFUL TAKING OUT THE FREEZE PLUG - its quite easy to do serious damage to the engine. The gap between the plug and the cylinder wall is small (1/4" or less) and the iron block drills really easily. To do some scary reading on this subject see this thread on TBN

I know this is an old thread...but, I'm still not finding the freeze plug to pull out for the heater adapter. Can someone please post a pic, or describe relative to other parts on the engine?

Right side, just ahead of the starter, halfway up the side of the block.
