Someone told me it’s good for a finish mower because it turns up a little faster. Not sure how much truth there is to that.As M says....
however be aware that 'technically' the shaft spinning at 750 RPM has less torque (power) than when at 540 RPM. Now how much less,you'd have to calculate though I don't suppose Kubota has charts on this.

Do the bigger tractors have a tachometer for the pto shaft?Not overly useful. If you're running something where you're overpowered you could run the faster PTO and slow the engine down to get 540. One of our members does this with his backhoe.
