Wheel Question

I have a bx2380 and I noticed the front left wheel appeared to be wobbling. When I looked at it I could see that one of the lug bolts was missing and two more were loose. So I got a replacement bolt and torqued everything down and it seemed to be ok (for a while). The other day I noticed it was loose again so I retightened everything up - again. Then, about a week back I noticed the wheel was again loose.

I've done some additional research and came across a thread where a guy said, "once the wheel is damaged, the bolts will never stay tight".

So I broke down and bought two new tire/wheel assemblies for the front axle. My question is - given the history, would it be advisable to add a little thread locker (purple or blue) to the bolts when installing the wheels. I'd hate to have to go through this whole thing again.

thanks

Loctite neither needed nor recommended on lug bolts.

Yes, lug bolts should be torqued to specifications and checked regularly.

While it may not be recommended, If it were mine, I would add the loctite.
