what weight grapple?

I have a l3800 hst and I am going to get a grapple.any ideas on what weight grapple I need?i have bigger tractors but this is my first compact. thanks any suggestion will be appreciated.

I think the Compact Grapple from Everything Attachments would be just about perfect for your tractor. It is plenty capable but is light so it doesn't use up much of your lift capacity.

This is about as simple and light as it gets for a grapple. Certainly, a balance between light weight and sturdy design needs to be considered depending on your specific needs. But for brush, you can do a lot of work with The Thumb and it is not as costly as other options.

I have this one on my B2620 and love it, with the additional weight and power of your L it would also be perfect, Its the lightest model avail to my knowledge. A grapple thumb on a bucket is a nice upgrade but imho theres just no comparison to a slat style grapple.
