I have an L3750 4wd and pull a 7foot tanden in sandy loam. if you bog down just raise it a little and get moving first. Just for food plots a 6 foot disk should be fine. If you plow something much bigger hire someone with a big tractor and an offset disk.

Howdy I have a L3830 and use a 3 Pt 6'9" disc made by John Deere Killefer tractor handles it great . I also had a Gearmore 6' disc but just wasnt heavy enough for my soil (adobe clay) but in your sandy loam it would work great. Look on craigslist I have found most all of my used equipment there.....Dan
