Hi folks, I'm a newbie to the tractor world and I need some help. I have a B7100 and both of my loader cylinders are leaking. I thought it would be easy enough to look up the parts and take them to be rebuilt. Problem is that there appears to be a bunch of different loaders out there and I don't have a clue what model mine is. I just assumed that all B7100's have the same loader.

Any thoughts on how I can figure this out and where would be the best place to buy a seal kit once I find out what model this is? Thanks

Zoli

If you post a picture someone will be able to ID it for you. If you have one of the older gear drive tractors it most likely is a B219 loader. They have a separate hydraulic pump driven off the front of the crankshaft just for the loader. If it ends up that you do have the B219 then seal kits are available from Kubota and are around $18.00 each.

Yep, good old B219, go to Kubota for parts, about $18 for the seal kit.

Digging up an old thread....I called Messick's and they do not carry the seal kits anymore but offered a Parker part number for it. I searched the net for the number and found it at Lifco Hydraulics...$100 and it was sent out to me. Tore the pump down yesterday and went to install new seals but it's clear the seal kit is for a smaller pump. Does anyone know of a source or name/part number for the proper seal kit? TIA

Yup, loader is a B219. If it is still there, nomenclature plate or sticker should be on the inside of the left upright down low.

You need to be much more specific in what your trying to accomplish or what you are asking!
What pump are you working on?
Where is it attached?
What are you trying to fix with said pump?

Look at the dates of #1-6 😉
Then look at the date of #7 and the question in #7. 😜
Yes, my bad for Dead Thread Revival! Hey, that could be the name of a group. Anyway, I have the Cessna 24205 RAJ pump out front. I found a couple of seal kits but they range in price from $300-$600! Ended up just ordering a seal, Danfoss 20200-154. Will see how it does, or even if it's the right one. Also found a Danfoss 24200-903 complete seal kit for $200 but can't see through the packaging and the seller can't confirm it will fit. Ugh.

Is it just leaking or did it blow the seal out?
If it just leaking there is a chance a new seal will fix it, if it's blowing the seal then either the pressure relief is not functioning or the pump is so worn that a new seal is not going to do anything for you.

It's just leaking. Has been for a couple of years but more lately. Couldn't find a seal kit last year so was stoked to have the new one in hand yesterday, then saw that it was not correct. Now it's down and I'm desperate! Hope the seal works.

While I'm asking, I've also looked for a seal kit for the loader valve; same result of nothing or just replace it with a new one. Any leads? It's the older 2-spool, 2-lever design.
