hello, i recently became the owner of a L-210. i have read hrs of forums and articals on here (not much listed for the L-210) anyway i was wondering if anyone here would know what my fuel filter is? i seen the artical with a listing of filters i believe to be for gray-market with my engine (z-1100) for the L-200 and the filter listed is that of a spin on type (fram at least) however the manual that i downloaded for the L-210 shows what looks like what i have (just looking at the outside i have yet to remove any bolts), and mine seems to be a filter that would have an internal element separate from the outside casing that is held in place by a flange and 4 bolts. is my filter different than what is listed for the L-200? if so what filter (if there is one aftermarket) fits my L-210? would like to know before i tare into the filter housing and loose prime and not have the part.

That is an odd/rare model, this is a case that pictures might be worth more than words!
I'm betting that your going to have to remove the filter and go to some auto parts stores and find a match, Napa would be my first stop as they have the books, knowledge, and resources that is far greater at out of norm needs. ;)

No matter how long the filter is off, you will still need to bleed the air out of the system to get it to start, so don't let that stop you at pulling it off and doing some research to find a new one.

thank you, guess if i looked into it a bit more would have gotten to that. it did cross reference that filter to other brands and have found that advanced auto (which is near me) carries the fram equivalent C1173PL. looks like i am in luck with that. once the weather hear warms up a bit ol girl will be getting new oil and filters, would do it now but fingers dont work so well when numb.
