I bought a used one 3 years ago. I use it almost more than my tractor. Cut firewood? Lift the logs to waist height (with a thumb) and buck it up. No more bending over. Lift the heavy rounds onto the splitter or on a table to feed the splitter. Need to lift something heavy out of truck bed? Sling or chain the load and lift it out. Tractor stuck in mud?Pull it out with mini-ex. Obviously excels at digging and trenching and is easier than using a backhoe. Dozer blade takes more punishment than tractor bucket for pushing/grading. You'll suddenly find all your neighbors will become your "best friends" as they find "favors" they need done. Would not want to be without my L6060, but I consider my KX033 an essential piece of equipment on the farm. Enjoy!
How do you like that Mongo?

It works and is well made. I bought one of their ripper blades a few years back and liked the customer service. Must be careful with excessive/extreme curl as hoses get exposed to ground.

I had a Red Maple succumb to the wind earlier this year. I pulled it out for firewood yesterday with the L3010 and Farmi 290 . At about 12 feet up the tree forked into two leaders. Both leaders split off, each going in opposite directions. One laying flat on the ground and the other remained partially attached to the snag and up off the ground.

I had a good winching lane up to the snag. The leaders were 90* to the lane. I hung a snatch block on a birch (little orange blob) and winched out the side that was on the ground first. The other leader is in the foreground up off the ground.

Then I hung the block on the snag and pulled out the other leader.

I cut the snag and winched it down to the tractor also. I cut one leader 24' long the other 21' plus some limb wood from each side.

Filling the tractor with jerry cans took ages and was messy; never managed without spilling a bit.

I had pulled a manual barrel pump out of a skip that was blocked. Managed to take it apart. Looked inside as if somebody had pumped elephant shit droppings. Cleaned everything, made some new parts, put in a new gland packing and made a suction pipe and an adapter ring with o-rings.

Together with four 50l barrels (13.2 U.S. or 11 UK gallons) that I bought second hand and that I can fill at the neighbors farm with offroad Diesel and that are easy to handle I now have a fine Kubota lawn tractor filling station :giggle:

Stopped by the dealer this morning. They're still waiting on the grill and trim. So no comfy tractor cuttin' in the a/c for me.

So bad! LOL

After being severely overheated, I decided to grab the trimmer and start walkin'......

About 270 bushes later a guys heart was beating far faster than it should have been and I was soaked right down to my socks.

Trimmer head was so hot i couldn't even touch it to reload it. Time to head on in for an adult beverage.

To improve matters you may spray it orange and as a courtesy for the long wait the dealer may give you some Kubota emblems to stick on it 🤣
